Welcome to the home page of The Rococo Players.
The Rococo Players were formed in 2003 to continue the fine tradition of presenting open-air Shakespeare productions at The Rococo Garden in Painswick, Gloucestershire, UK. The first production at this venue (presented by the Gloucestershire Drama Association) was in 1997 and others followed annually by kind permission of Lord and Lady Dickinson.
Although The Rococo Players have a hard core of enthusiasts who return to the Garden year after year, the freshness and vitality of the productions also relies upon 'new blood'; new faces attracted to contributing to this outstanding event.
